To ease the installation and provide a secure fix of solar panels to corrugated roofs, SFS intec has developed a new curved saddle washer for its SOL-R system.
Originally designed for trapezoidal sheet and sandwich roof applications, the SOL-R system has been adapted to cater for the increased demand for corrugated roof applications.
The saddle washer is the latest innovation from SFS intec, and will allow for a safer fixing, making the installation process much quicker and easier. The new adapter base fits snugly onto the roofs surface, following the curvature of the sheet to provide complete protection against water ingress.
The SOL-R system is easily transported and can reduce installation time by up to two thirds when compared with other "stair bolt" alternatives. The post is easily adjustable in both height and rake conditions allowing optimum positioning of the solar panels.
