Philips Lighting is pleased to announce the introduction of the Philips Fortimo LED Strip system, a new module and driver for OEMs to start addressing general lighting and specifically areas where fluorescent is dominant.
The Philips Fortimo LED Strip system consists of LED pcb modules of 280mm (630Lm) accompanied by a programmable Xitanium 75w driver in T5 shaped linear housing, which is fully dimmable and compatible with DALI controls, such as the Philips ActiLume system.
The Philips Fortimo LED Strip provides high quality, energy efficient white light and is intended for use in luminaires as a fluorescent replacement, or for totally new designs and shapes.
The shape of the LED Strip and the notches built in to the design has been carefully selected to allow for seamless connection in a straight line, or at angles to each other. This allows for design flexibility in new shapes of luminaires, previously not possible with fluorescent, without compromising on performance.
With a specification of 630Lm per module, RA80, 4000K and a module efficiency of 95 Lm/W the Philips Fortimo LED Strip matches T5 fluorescent lamp specifications, making it a very attractive proposition for office lighting. The Philips Fortimo LED Strip is also future proof, keeping the dimensions and lumen packages the same with future increases in LED efficiency.
The Fortimo LED Strip is now commercially available from Philips. For more information on specifications and ordering data please see www.philips.com/fortimo
