In response to contractor feedback, SFS intec has launched the new Aceclamp for solar panel attachment to standing seam metal roofs, speeding up installation time onsite.
The new aluminium Aceclamp comes in two designs; the Mechanical Lock model which clamps around aluminium standing seams and the Snaplock model which locks onto traditional panels with a seam dimension of <12.7mm.
Peter Hamby, Pitched Roofing Business Development Manager, said: "We designed the Aceclamp with ease of use and speed in mind because we listened to the contractors need for simple and efficient solutions. So with only a few parts and components the installation time is minimal, and contractor's can be confident that the fixing will be completed quickly and correctly, first time."
Ensuring a completely secure fixing, both designs are simple to install, quickly locking into place without piercing the roof panel. The clamp is then securely tightened to ensure that it will not loosen from vibration.
The Aceclamp is suitable for a range of solutions; snowrails, windclamps, heating ventilation and air conditioning units (HVAC), conduit and signs, but it is increasingly being specified for solar PV applications.
