Best known for its expertise in floor standing boiler design, Hamworthy Heating has developed a new wall hung condensing boiler that demonstrates the company’s industry leading credentials and catapults the manufacturer into the centre of the wall hung market.
Part of the company’s recently launched Fleet range, the new ultra-compact, wall hung module promises to transform commercial boiler solutions, creating a new benchmark in versatility.
British designed and built at the Hamworthy factory in Poole, the Fleet wall hung boiler is available in eight models with outputs from 40kW up to 150kW, extending the normal capability of wall hung products.
“Strengthening our portfolio of wall hung boilers, the new Fleet model embraces everything our customers have said they need to meet the requirements for commercial buildings,” said Keith Thompson, Hamworthy Heating’s sales & marketing director.
Developed by Hamworthy for use in all eight wall hung models is an innovatively designed heat exchanger. Manufactured using robust aluminium alloy castings for high efficiency condensing performance, the boiler is suitable for up to six bar working pressure.
Using multiple boilers, the wall hung models facilitate close load matching and require fewer modules for high output commercial systems where it is necessary to satisfy large heat loads. This enables significant operational savings to be achieved over its lifetime.
All models come with optional frame-sets and pipe kits below the boilers, plus room sealed flue with a choice of concentric or twin duct, or open flue header systems for multiple boilers.
Keith added: “All Fleet wall hung models have been through a comprehensive testing and development programme. As a result, for the first time we are offering a five year warranty on the heat exchanger as standard.
