Hanson UK’s new QuickBuild retaining walls are designed to save time and money and improve safety.
The precast reinforced concrete units are available in seven heights from one metre to 3.75 metres and are ideal for temporary storage bays or retaining soil and rocks on steep slopes. They can be cast with a preformed textured finish or enhanced by a single skin brick facing panel.
The units are easy to handle thanks to the Hanson QuickLift system, which reduces lifting time and improves safety.
“There is no need to use expensive lifting gear or attachments so installation time can be reduced by up to 20 per cent,” said business development manager Paul Lees.
Retaining walls are the latest product to be added to Hanson’s QuickBuild precast concrete range, which includes box culverts, Omnia bridge deck and Floodwall as well as bespoke products.
A retaining walls brochure including technical information, a handling guide and details on all the textures and finishes available is available by email from retainingwalls@hanson.com or call 01773 600211.
There is also an online estimator which calculates how many units are needed to provide the required storage capacity.
