Helvar is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Wilmshurst to the position of Director of its Lighting Systems business unit and Managing Director of the Helvar UK operations. A highly experienced lighting control professional with many years of senior-level experience in the sector, Paul will be managing a 50+ team of sales, production, service, R&D and distribution personnel which operates out of Helvar’s UK office in Dartford.

Paul has over twenty years of international experience in the lighting industry primarily in the areas of sales, operations and marketing. His most recent role, prior to his appointment at Helvar, was Business Development Director of Philips Dynalite. Under Paul’s leadership the company formed a new business development and support team and implemented a new market strategy across Europe. Previous to this, Paul was Managing Director of Dynalite Europe and European Marketing Manager of Philips Lighting.
