Homerton University Hospital in Hackney, East London is currently undertaking an extensive refurbishment programme, including a huge overhaul of signage requirements in collaboration with DMA Signs.
Following a number of site visits carried out by DMA Signs, it was evident that Homerton University Hospital was in need of a new wayfinding signing solution to streamline signage elements across the building, making it easier for patients and visitors to follow. DMA has carefully designed and implemented a coherent and uniform solution linking different zones in the building with an emphasis on colour coding and the use of symbols.

DMA Signs secured this contract through the Government Procurement Service scheme. Following a rigorous assessment process to be accredited under this scheme, DMA scored the highest marks in both the stock signs and bespoke signs categories: the only sign manufacturer and installer in the UK to achieve such recognition. Under this scheme DMA Signs has also designed and installed internal and external signage solutions at: Basildon and Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Basingstoke and North Hampshire NHS Foundation Trust, East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, Medway NHS Foundation Trust and Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
