As a market-leader in architectural systems, the company is to transfer all sales and production at its Hednesford office to the Hunter Douglas Faber site in Northampton, creating a bigger and stronger Hunter Douglas Architectural Projects division in the UK.
The new operations base will focus all Hunter Douglas Architectural Project activity in the UK at a single site, developing an impressive design, manufacturing, sales and customer service facility.
David Harris, Sales and Marketing Manager for Hunter Douglas Architectural Projects UK and Faber Blinds UK Ltd, explained that the Northampton site already boasted state-of-the-art design and manufacturing facilities and transferring all operations to a central hub with impressive transport links to the whole of the country would improve the overall standard of service across the board.
“This will further increase our focus on delivering strong customer service and technical knowledge across all four product groups Ceilings, Facades, Sun Control and Window Coverings, as well as to our customer base and to the architectural and specification community,” he added.
“As we continue to make preparations for the transfer in August 2013, we will regularly update existing customers on progress. This move is about creating a bigger and better operations base and level of service to existing and new customers.”
