Insulshell, a new fire rated engineered structural panel system which incorporates robust insulation technology has been launched to market – providing a thermally efficient and cost effective solution for off-site/fast track construction.
With a 25 year product warranty and design life of 60 years plus, Insulshell is a structural panel which integrates superior levels of insulation with high performance to create an innovative fast build system.
Suitable for use as a standalone structural balloon frame system or as an infill to structurally framed buildings, the system has been designed to provide comprehensive protection as the panels already provide a minimum of 60 minutes through-wall fire integrity before installation. This composition arguably eliminates the risk of spread of fire during and post construction.
Designed for buildings which aim to achieve high levels of thermal insulation whilst maintaining speed of construction, Insulshell, incorporating its patented jointing system, delivers pre-fabricated panels to site which minimise thermal bridging and maximise air tightness (typically less than 1m3/hr/m2 @ 50Pa recorded).
Moreover, the high performance panels provide a seamless fixing point for any external or internal cladding profile meaning the thermal integrity of the overall construction is not compromised by fixings or fastenings.
