At this year’s RoofEx, on the May 1 and 2 at the NEC, Birmingham, Knauf Insulation will be showcasing its wide range of high performance insulation products for roofing applications, on stand 719.

During the two-day exhibition Knauf Insulation will have its Polyfoam ECO extruded polystyrene roofboard on display. This outstanding product, has achieved an industry first as the only XPS product to receive a certified BRE Green Guide Rating of ‘A’ – providing confidence to specifiers that the product is a proven sustainable solution.
Suitable for inverted roofs, where the insulation is placed above the waterproof membrane, Polyfoam ECO XPS is a robust product that is almost 100 per cent closed cell, resulting in a strong, highly moisture resistant – making Polyfoam ECO roofboards particularly suitable for green roofs as well as terraced areas, thanks to their high compressive strength.
Knauf Insulation will be displaying its Rocksilk Krimpact Flat Roof Slab product – a high strength, rigid rock mineral wool slab – which is specifically designed for use in flat roofing applications. What makes this product stand out is its exceptional fire and acoustic properties. In conjunction with Knauf Insulation’s Acoustic Membrane (KAM 5), the Flat Roof Slab has been extensively tested for sound insulation and rain noise, making the product wholly suitable for public buildings particularly within the health and education sectors.
Furthermore, both Polyfoam ECO and Rocksilk Krimpact Flat Roof products are manufactured in the UK and represent no known threat to the environment, and has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP).
