HygroMatik’s CompactLine ,C10 CDS steam generator and HygroMatik essence pump have been installed at the new luxury spa at Thornton Hall Hotel & Spa, Wirrall.
The project, by specialist design and build company to the wellness industry Rigo Spa, incorporates a fully automated Rhassoul and Ante Room with heated benching, bespoke basin and four luxury showers.
Visitors are presented with a selection of nourishing mineral muds to smooth onto the body and face before sitting in the warmth of the Rhassoul. The HygroMatik CompactLine steam generator and essence pump ensures the room is infused with natural steam and relaxing aromas which help soothe tense muscles and open the pores allowing the enriched muds to condition the body.
Rigo Spa specified a HygroMatik CompactLine C10CDS Steam Generator with SuperFlush and a HygroMatik essence Pump. A Rigo Spa control system automates the entire process by activating the HygroMatik steam generator part way through a program cycle.

They are very versatile as their own integrated controls are often all that is required for steam room installations, these can then be easily controlled by our external control panels for automated projects such as this.”

Their products can be interlinked to enable several generators to talk to a central control in larger commercial applications. At the beginning of 2013 we completed a project in which we networked fifteen HygroMatik Steam Generators together in one commercial project,” explains Richard Gowland.
SuperFlush dramatically reduces servicing requirements. It creates additional turbulence in the maintainable steam cylinder, breaking down scale and increasing the amount of scale being drained thus reducing the need for de-scaling. A heavy duty blow-down pump is activated during partial drain-downs, and this removes a large proportion of scale deposits, doubling or tripling the life of the cylinder.
HygroMatik Spa products can be used within a range of applications for a variety of project needs from Steam bath to Steam shower, through to Biosauna, Healing clay steam baths, Hamam or Caldarium.
