Globally celebrated design concept, Material Xperience, will for the very first time in the UK, be bringing an array of innovative materials to the DX exhibition within the exciting inaugural May Design Series.
Based on their successful Amsterdam event, Materia will be using the show to offer expert advice by imparting information on the new developments and innovations within this industry sector and how they can be best applied in practice.
Materia hosts a forum, centred on a freely accessible independent collection of building materials that bring something new to the vital areas of aesthetics or technology, or are socially relevant in some other way.
The current collection consists of over 2,000 material samples and is still growing. Materia provides a bridge between architects, designers and anyone involved in the specification of materials and the newest materials coming into the market.

Material Xperience materials are selected by an independent panel for their function and integration properties such as 3D sunblinds, LED lighted facades and translucent wooden walls.
The materials that will be on show are categorised by type (such as concrete, wood or plastic) and are used in any environment in which architects work, from product design to domestic bedrooms to parks and from hotels to hospitals plus many other interiors applications.
