The Award-winning HDC (Heavy Duty Condensing) water heater from Rinnai UK is proving a huge success due to its versatility and extremely energy efficient performance. Sharing all the key features of the original Heavy Duty range, the condensing models capture residual heat from its flue gases and transfers it into the water being heated; the condensing process delivers up to 95% thermal efficiency (105% net in accordance with BS EN 677), which translates to significant energy savings when compared to standard on-demand water heaters.
HDC on-demand water heaters is based on a modular principle and are designed for demanding and high performance use from large residential applications up to hotels, schools, hospitals, commercial premises and including process applications, and will make savings up to 25% in both operating costs and a reduction in CO2 emissions for new and replacement installations.
By linking two or more units together these heaters can satisfy any load. In situations where a very large peak demand for hot water is required they can be incorporated with a Rinnai stainless steel buffer store – demands in excess of 25,000 litres per hour can be satisfied. You need never run out of hot water again!
By opting for on-demand water heaters rather than a traditional hot water storage cylinder-based system, there is the added advantage of reducing the risk of legionella. On-demand water heaters may also be located at the point of use eliminating dead legs and wasted energy from moving hot water from a central point to the required outlet.
