Summary
This new training session will look at the new building regulations in detail, focusing on Part L. The course will also cover the new SAP 2009 calculation** and change in SAP 2009 compared to 2005.

What you will learn:
The one day course will cover in detail the implications of the new building regulations Part F,G and L, with the main focus on Part L.
The 2010 changes are the first step towards zero carbon in 2016, and along with SAP2009, delegates will review the impacts of the changes to:
Methods of achieving Part L 2010 will also be discussed whilst using worked examples and interactive sessions to demonstrate this. Delegates will also take a brief look at Fabric Energy Efficiency standards and the impact of Part L 2010 on the Code for Sustainable Homes energy requirements
** SAP is the standard assessment procedure used in the UK to assess the energy performance of dwellings. SAP 2009 is the updated version to be used from October 2010 onwards for new dwellings.
