My Pilkington business support tool launched for customers

My Pilkington is a new support tool exclusively for trade customers who buy and supply Pilkington glass.

It offers benefits and information not available on the company’s main website, all through a customised user portal. It also allows Architects who specify Pilkington products to find glazing installers.

My Pilkington allows customers to promote their businesses by adding their details to both consumer- and trade-focused supplier finders. The popularity and awareness of the Pilkington brand name among the general public and specifier community means that many will start their search for a supplier on the company’s website, making it vital for customers to have their details registered there.

The My Pilkington platform is also a hub for special offers and reports. It shows live order status updates and collates all order documents such as delivery notes and invoices into one easy-to-use place.

Customers can view product videos and demonstrations and link them to their websites, order relevant literature and samples, and even use online technical calculators. There’s also a dedicated section for Health and Safety advice and information – a key topic for all businesses in the glazing industry – featuring videos and case studies.

My Pilkington is a fully-customisable system; each individual within a company can be registered separately, allowing colleagues and staff to have different levels of access allocated accordingly.

Paul Shipley, Sales Support Manager, Architectural Glass UK, explained “We’ve been thinking about ways we can offer more support to our valued customers for a while, and the My Pilkington portal was a logical next step in this journey. This is just the start though. We plan to update the portal with new information, tools and training on a regular basis, in response to customer demand. If you’ve got an idea for how My Pilkington can support your business, tell us!”

All existing Pilkington Activ and Pilkington energiKare partners have been pre-registered for My Pilkington.
