TigerTurf UK Ltd, the UK's leading manufacturer of artificial turf, has developed a premium range of playing surfaces to meet the needs of sports and leisure facilities;  from community centres and universities, to elite level sports clubs.

Backed by 30 years’ industry experience and a dedicated in-house Research and Development facility, TigerTurf designs, tests, and manufactures bespoke artificial turf systems created to replicate the look and playing characteristics of the best natural grass fields.

By guaranteeing a quality surface, TigerTurf’s extensive range of sports surfaces can ensure fewer fixture cancellations, higher usage, and increased participation levels when compared with natural turf. Further benefits including reduced water usage, little or no requirement for chemical spraying, and no need for mowing, reseeding, or fertilisers, mean sports Facilities Managers can be assured of a lower cost per playing hour all year round.

Tested to the high performance and safety standards laid out by sports-specific governing bodies, TigerTurf’s artificial turf systems are backed by accreditation from organisations ranging from FIFA, to the International Rugby Board (IRB), Rugby Football League (RFL), International Hockey Federation (FIH), Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), and European Standards (EN).

To meet the needs of footballers in the community and at professional level, TigerTurf’s Soccer Real range offer a choice of two third generation (3G) surfaces, each of which is part-filled with rubber and sand to maximise stability and longevity. Soccer Real 60XQ and Soccer Real 50XQ boast a 60mm and 50mm pile height respectively, and have been designed to offer a safe and authentic ball/surface and player/surface interaction, which is a critical requirement for football and rugby clubs at all levels.

For those facilities with a need for multi-use sports surfaces, TigerTurf has also developed its Total Turf range, which boasts a versatile line-up of features and benefits for a wide range of outdoor activities. Each offering a different pile height to satisfy the varying needs of professional and community level sportspeople, the 3G Total Turf 65XQ, Total Turf 60XQ, and Total Turf 40XQ also consist of two unique profiled fibres, and a sand and rubber infill, which combine to maintain a stable surface.

TigerTurf’s range also extends to a selection of dressed products, where the surface is dressed, rather than filled, with sand or water to minimise ball deviation for hockey and tennis in particular. TigerTurf’s WETT Pro is a state-of-the-art water-based hockey product that offers unrivalled performance and durability, and has also been designed to use at least 30 per cent less water than alternative systems. The Evo Pro meanwhile, is the sand-dressed equivalent of the WETT Pro, which, thanks to its capacity as a multi-sport system, is the number one choice for education and community activities.

Paul Langford, Managing Director at TigerTurf UK commented: “At TigerTurf, we have invested heavily in the development of a number of synthetic turf products to meet the needs of a variety of community and elite level sports facilities. Thanks to a longstanding commitment to investing heavily in R&D and testing facilities, we can assure end-users that once installed, our artificial turf systems will fulfil sports specific safety and performance criteria, as well as ensuring they can perform to their peak at all times.

“As stakeholders search for ways to minimise downtime and maintenance without compromising performance, they need look no further than a bespoke artificial turf system.”
