Specifiers looking to combine imaginative paint colour schemes with eye-catching and high quality wallcoverings are set to benefit from the launch of PPG’s new Contractors’ Choice book, which has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of a diverse range of sectors, such as social housing, healthcare and leisure.
The new and improved range now includes over 120 stylish and durable wallpapers including borders and plains and features a wide variety of pattern designs and inspiring colour choice. The book contains several wallpaper types to suit a wide variety of environments including heavyweight vinyl, Italian vinyl and Silk vinyl products. The book also offers guaranteed product availability until the Autumn of 2012.
Contractors’ Choice provides specifiers, particularly those working in housing associations, healthcare, public sector and hospitality environments, with flexible wallcovering solutions to meet different requirements, such as durable and quality coverings for high traffic areas and more sophisticated options for personal spaces.
Containing a huge range of designs from contemporary to classic, Contractors’ Choice wallcoverings are available through Johnstone’s Decorating Centres nationwide, where each design can be complemented by paint colours from Johnstone’s palette of over 16,000 shades and tones.
Housing associations can also take full advantage of the options provided by the Contractors’ Choice book in the form of Johnstone’s Decorating Allowance Scheme. The scheme, which is entirely flexible and tailorable, is designed to help housing associations and social landlords keep properties maintained to the highest possible standards whilst giving residents the freedom to decorate their homes in the colours and finishes of their choice.
Clare Winter, Johnstone’s Specification Market Manager, said: “The Contractors’ Choice book provides a welcome opportunity for specifiers in the social housing sector to combine wallcovering and paint solutions to great effect for tenants. Using the Decorating Allowance Scheme, the provider is able to issue a decorating allowance in the format that suits them best and by ensuring that residents are using Johnstone’s paints and wallcoverings it gives them the confidence that their properties are being decorated with premium quality products.
“Residents, meanwhile, are given the freedom to personalise their homes with the decorating and colour scheme of their choice. And with the nationwide network of Johnstone’s Decorating Centres and a free home delivery service, decorating couldn’t be easier.”
