Businesses from across the UK have been shortlisted for the Retro Expo Awards today, as Retro Expo completes the first stage of its hunt to find Britain's most inspiring retrofit products, projects and people.
The Awards, which are hosted by Birmingham Energy Savers and Carillion Energy Services, is celebrating best practice and excellence in retrofit across the domestic, commercial and public sector markets.
A dedicated judging panel of experts from the retrofit industry worked through nearly 100 entries, measuring each one against a strict criterion, to shortlist 47 semi-finalists.
David Pierpoint at Retro Expo said: "We are very proud to announce the Retro Expo Awards semi-finalists. The judging panel was impressed with the quality of entries and had a tough time making a final decision in many categories. These are the best and most worthy retrofit products, projects and people in the UK."
The Retro Expo Awards take place at Retro Expo, Hall 6 at the NEC on Wednesday 31st October from 1700-1930.
They are hosted by Jo Smit from the Building Research Establishment, and will feature an address from Dave Allport from Birmingham Energy Savers. The Awards will be also fundraise for Retro Expo's Official Charity, National Energy Action.
