The Energy Efficiency Partnership for Buildings (EEPB) has signed up as a leading strategic partner for Retro Expo, the UK's leading exhibition and conference dedicated to low carbon refurbishment.
The collaboration will result in the EEPB bringing together many of the key trade associations and industry bodies live at Retro Expo, taking place at the NEC, Birmingham from November 5-6.
EEPB coordinates action across the diverse supply chains to promote energy efficiency retrofit in buildings and overcome barriers. Membership includes leading Green Deal Providers such as Kingfisher, Knauf, nPower and British Gas as well as not for profit organisations such as the National Energy Foundation, the Association for the Conservation of Energy and Warm Zones.
Speaking on behalf of the EEPB, Director Mark Brown commented: "The energy efficiency market has never had greater opportunities or challenges than it faces today. Retro Expo is an opportunity to bring everybody together in one place at one time to face up to these challenges. Retro Expo can do for retrofit what Ecobuild did for the low carbon new build sector."
Speaking on behalf of Retro Expo, Director David Pierpoint said: "Retro Expo is the retrofit industry's show, and the EEPB do a superb job of engaging with that industry at all levels. The EEPB see a need to bring all the niches of the sector together to accelerate the national retrofit programme, and we look forward to working closely with Mark and his team to deliver that."
