Roman, one of the leading UK shower manufacturers and designers, has won a second major award for their Roman Shield Complete Wetroom Tanking Kit, which was named Best Bathroom product in the Homebuilding and Renovating Product Excellence Awards 2011.
The Roman Shield Complete Wetroom Kit is the ultimate wetroom package - guaranteed to make constructing a wetroom a simple and fail safe process. The kit contains everything you need to create a water tight wetroom including; Roman Primer, Roman Shield Tape, a Self-Adhesive Shower Outlet Sleeve, Roman Tanking Compound, complete Installation Instructions, Roman’s Pre-formed Shower Floor and a Roman Shield Waste.
The Pre-formed Shower Floor, included within the kit, is manufactured from Roman Stone, a solid-surface, self-reinforcing material which allows you to place it directly onto the joists; it is then simply tanked and tiled over to create an ultra modern wetroom. The Pre-formed Floor then offers the reassurance of a tray to the installer and the homeowner, whilst a true wetroom look is achieved. It is designed with a natural fall towards the waste - eliminating the need for the installer to create the drainage slope with adhesive or a levelling compound, for a quick and easy installation.

They also include a step-by-step guide within their brochure and the kit comes complete with easy to follow step-by-step instructions.
Alongside winning this fantastic accolade, the Roman Shield Complete Wetroom Tanking Kit will be showcased with other winning products from other categories on a stand at the Homebuilding and Renovating Show. The show takes place between the 24th and 27th March at the NEC in Birmingham.
The wetroom pack had previously been named best bathroom product by readers of Kitchens Bedrooms and Bathrooms magazine.
