An independent study has been undertaken to assess the suitability and economic advantages of using SkanDek elements for the roof of a typical single storey supermarket. The study by the Steel Construction Institute [SCI] highlights the benefits that arise from using SkanDek for the roof rather than the built-up cladding with purlins option. Savings can be made in construction cost and programme.
