Exhibition & Webinar Tue, Mar 22, 2016 5:00 PM
Travis Perkins Group today demonstrates its commitment to providing the trade with the right sustainable tools to get the job done at the Ecobuild exhibition onstands 710 and 611 (North Hall) at the Excel exhibition centre in London.
As part of its presence throughout the show, SBS (Sustainable Building Solutions), the sustainable division of the Travis Perkins Group, has unveiled its brand new website, www.sustainablebuildingsolutions.co.uk, which provides tradesmen, architects and specifiers with everything they need to complete a sustainable building project. From its vast array of products, through to tips and advice on how to go about managing a project from start to finish, the new website offers a one-stop-shop for all the trade’s sustainable needs.
Also being launched at the show and featuring on the new website is Travis Perkins Group’s new Standard Construction Drawings. Developed in conjunction with the LABC and BRE, these new drawings will help architects, contractors and house-builders deal with the minefield of building regulations and enable them to meet the strict criteria required of sustainable projects.
In addition, SBS is announcing the launch of its integrated Services and Training Programme in partnership with PPL Training. With courses on everything from Rainwater Harvesting to installing Solar PV, this new training partnership will allow SBS to provide a range of specific Renewables and Sustainability training courses designed to help the trade develop and build their sustainable skills. Full details of the courses available can be found on the new SBS website.
On its stand at Ecobuild, SBS will also be displaying its latest installed solutions including new internal and external wall insulation for refurbishment properties and solutions for new-build properties. There will also be a dedicated landscaping section showcasing its Water Management, Decking and Paving products, along with an installed Rainwater Harvesting Tank.
Paul Joyner, Director of Sustainable Building Solutions at Travis Perkins Group commented: “We’ve really gone all out for this year’s show to offer a fully integrated solutions approach to sustainable building. We appreciate that for the trade, time is money, and this new approach will allow us to provide them with the right sustainable products, services, training and advice to support them in getting the job done in the best, and most efficient way possible.”
Travis Perkins Group will be running a FREE seminar programme on Wednesday 21st March in North Gallery Room 18 covering topics from “Low Carbon Retrofit” through to “Sustainable Building Solutions: New Build, the Fabric”, and is encouraging visitors to come along to hear more on topical issues surrounding sustainable building.
