The Institution of Structural Engineers has opened submissions to The Structural Awards 2014, the world-class construction industry event which celebrates global achievement, innovation and excellence in the field of structural engineering.
Engineering firms of all sizes are encouraged to enter, but this year the entry fee for the “Small Practices” category has been reduced by over 30% to encourage more submissions. The deadline for all entries is Friday 18 April 2014.
Established in 1968, the Awards are held every year in London to recognise the work of the world’s most talented structural designers and to showcase the projects that lead industry development.
Institution of Structural Engineers Chief Executive, Martin Powell, said: “I would encourage any ambitious firm, especially smaller practices, to get involved in this year’s competition. The Awards are a real chance to showcase your work with a global audience and take your place among the world’s best engineers. ”
You can find out more about The Structural Awards, including entry information and details of 2013’s winners, including the Supreme Award presented to the Taizhou Bridge project in China, by visiting the organisation's website.
