TRADA Technology has unveiled dates for the first two of its regional half-day CPD seminars, in partnership with Wood for Good and the Forestry Commission.
The two seminars will focus on developments in timber construction and wood materials.
TRADA Technology has an international reputation as a training provider for construction industry professionals and these two seminars will bring together experts in their fields to deliver up-to-date information on a range of important topics.
The first seminar takes place on September 4th at the Institute of Material, Minerals and Mining. The morning event runs from 9am-1pm and will deal with the following subjects: building sustainably with timber (Dr Andy Pitman); Modern Methods of Construction (Lewis Taylor); and engineered wood products and what can be achieved (Hugh Mansfield-Williams).
A second seminar will take place on September 10th at the Welsh School of Architecture, following the same timetable of speakers and topics. Each event will also be an excellent opportunity for networking.
These CPDs will be backed up by TRADA’s 24-hours online access to technical and practical information about wood and wood products. Meanwhile, Scotland and Northern Ireland will receive their CPDs from Edinburgh Napier.
There is no charge for these CPD events as the programme is fully funded by Wood for Good and will be supported by CPD ‘surgeries’ of up to 30 minutes, giving delegates the opportunity to submit technical questions for discussion after the CPD event.
