SBS incorporates 12 months of mentoring into new course

Sustainable Building Solutions (SBS), part of the Travis Perkins Group, has launched the UK’s first Green Deal PAS 2030 course which offers a year of free mentoring for each attendee.

Realising that customers needed additional support to confidently run a PAS 2030 system for Green Deal, SBS has worked with PPL Training and Easy Green Deal to develop a course which includes a personal mentor for each attendee, built around a bespoke Quality Management System.

The mentor will ensure the attendee has on-going support whilst they achieve compliance with PAS 2030 and the Green Deal code of practice. They will also provide support in terms of maintaining compliance, completing the assessment, and working with Green Deal providers.

The mentoring and additional support will be provided remotely by Easy Green Deal, the UK's leading and Multi Award Winning provider of Green Deal Certification Support. The PAS 2030 training course is provided by PPL Training, the Travis Perkins Group’s partner for all energy efficient building and renewables training courses.

SBS was created in 2010 to provide builders, architects and specifiers with energy efficient and compliant solutions which are applicable for new-build, retrofit and repair and maintenance markets.
