Dependant on who you are talking to, you will encounter mixed views on the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and also the success or lack of it surrounding Green Deal. Common questions include: Will the RHI ever go live? Is Green Deal really good enough for the consumer to make the capital investment?
Attendees at Ecobuild this year will be able to visit Specflue on Stand N1935 and find out how to best position their businesses to take full advantage of the RHI when it is rolled-out to domestic properties, as expected, in summer this year.
2014 will be the first time Specflue, a leading supplier of renewable heat products and flue systems, has exhibited at Ecobuild on its own stand.
As well as viewing the products, specifiers will be able to talk to the technical team behind Specflue’s renewable heating range which includes thermal stores, solar panels and pellet stoves and boilers. There will also be a chance to look at the new Heating Interface Unit (HIU) that has been devised to suit council district heating schemes.
Members of its dedicated training facility will be on the stand to give information on Specflue’s programme of renewable heat courses aimed at specifiers and installers.
Jed Smith, Head of Business Support Services commented: “Specflue is a bit of a one-stop shop when it comes to renewables. Visitors to our stand can come with absolutely no knowledge of the sector at all and walk away with a plan of action that, if implemented, will give them the ammunition to, not only recommend with confidence the most appropriate products, but also to demonstrate to the end-user that all important payback on their investment through the Government’s RHI scheme.”
“The number of biomass installers has increased considerably over the last 12 months and there has been a steady rise in the number of traditional solid fuel engineers and plumbing and heating engineers that are now working within the renewable sector; all strong indicators that this is a burgeoning market that is going from strength to strength.”
