Caesarstone Installation of the Month – Domestic Kitchen uses Frosty Carrina 5141

The superb choice of Caesarstone Frosty Carrina (5141) for a stunningly beautiful, classic kitchen is the focus of our case study this month.  Chosen by bespoke furniture makers, Osborne of Ilkeston, Frosty Carrina – which is from Caesarstone’s Supernatural Collection – proved to be the perfect partner for the kitchen’s bespoke cabinetry, which is painted in a sophisticated palette of pastel heather and sage colours.

Frosty Carrina was additionally specified for the kitchen’s generously proportioned, central island.  And, with its marble-esque appearance and delicate, subtle veining – it is hard to imagine any other surface working quite so effectively.

Brian Osborne, Operations Manager at Osborne of Ilkeston explains,

“This is one of those ‘forever’ kitchens that has been so beautifully executed, that you’d think it has always been there.  The cabinetry’s proportions, its colours and the layout of the room – with the Aga recessed into the chimney breast and the central island – are ideal for such an elegant house.  So our choice of work surfaces had to be just right too.  Fortunately, Caesarstone’s Frosty Carrina – from the Supernatural Collection – was spot-on.”

With Caesarstone, you have the full advantage of having chosen a stone that is both attractive and practical, and comes with a 15 year guarantee, offering peace of mind as standard.

Durable, yet beautiful

Caesarstone is a beautifully engineered quartz stone which comprises approximately 93% natural quartz.  Practical, durable, and attractive, it has significant advantages over natural stone and other surfacing materials due to its superior strength and quality.  These include:

  • 4X flexural strength*
  • Scratch resistant
  • High stain resistance
  • No need to seal or wax
  • Non-porous
  • 2X impact resistance*

( *compared to granite, while outperforming marble)

The quartz surfaces never need sealing and require minimal maintenance to keep them looking like new.  The hard, non-penetrable surface makes cleaning simple and in most cases, soap and water or a mild detergent are all that are required to maintain its lustre.
