The Government recently set out the warranty requirements under the Green Deal and the Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency (CIGA) has therefore reviewed and updated the terms of its universally recognised 25 year CIGA Guarantee.
The Guarantee now aligns to Green Deal Framework Regulations that specify the requirements for warranties provided under the Green Deal, and is therefore positioned to support Green Deal Providers.
Since 1995, the CIGA Guarantee has successfully safeguarded consumers through a quality assurance framework including a suite of Guides to Best Practice covering the installation of Cavity Wall Insulation (CWI) and the independent Guarantee.
