Conex Bänninger launches new range of industrial and specification valves

Conex Bänninger, an IBP Group company has announced the launch of a new range of industrial and specification valves.

This builds on the company’s already extensive product portfolio and enhances its reputation within the commercial marketplace as a quality fitting and valves solutions provider.

The introduction of Conex Bänninger’s larger industrial product range falls in line with the company’s long term plans to build on its market share and product portfolio in the commercial and industrial markets.  This adds depth to its current range of fittings and accessories, providing a high quality choice of flow control and filter strainer solutions for use in water systems. The full industrial range includes resilient seated Gate Valves, Combination Air Release Valves, Industrial Balancing Valves, Industrial Butterfly Valves, Industrial Check Valves, Expansion Joint Valves and Y Strainers.

Manufactured from resilient, ductile and cast iron materials, the Conex Bänninger industrial products are specifically manufactured to withstand heavy use and built to meet all appropriate industry standards and requirements, including the addition of a bronze static balancing valve, which balances flow rates throughout the system.

Products in the industrial range coated, helping to reduce the effects of corrosion. The valves in the range meet the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) approval – the standard by which any water fittings must meet in order to carry or receive water from the public mains water supply in the UK.

Bill Barlow, UK Business Unit Director commented on the launch: “The Industrial valves market is a key growth area for Conex Banninger, and one that we now have the right product in place to target. Our industrial valves range is highly accurate and durable; offering solutions in flow regulation, flow restriction, filtering debris removal, air pressure release and high pressure movement absorption. We are confident that our product offering is one of the best on the market and that we have positioned ourselves at the right time.

Barlow continues: “The launch of our industrial and specification valves range marks a significant product expansion for Conex Banninger, ensuring that we are meeting customer requirements as well as targeting key market areas with a compelling and competitive proposition.”

Conex Bänninger also offers a full range of products within the specification range, including gate, globe, check, strainer, and quarter turn ball valves products designed for use with drinking water, low temperature hot and chilled water, gas, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. The specification valves ranges are WRAS approved and Kitemarked, where stated, to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Conex Bänninger valves are manufactured using high quality brass, DZR brass and bronze material, which is resistant to corrosion. The gate and quarter turn ball valves are full bore valves which ensures low friction loses and full flow through the systems.

The gate valves range is designed with a non-rising stem, with hand wheel and lock shield variants. Quarter turn ball valves are ideal for system isolation as the valves are quick to operate. Variants are also available for gas and water applications, and all are backed by a five-year warranty.
