Evotouch takes gold award

Leading heating controls manufacturer Honeywell is celebrating taking gold in the best heating product category at the annual House Beautiful magazine awards for its latest touch screen multi-zone controller - Evotouch.

Held at the innovative Science Museum in London, the popular awards are referred to as the “Oscars of the home industry” and celebrate excellence in the year’s best home products and retailers.

Recognised for its heating efficiency and innovation, the Evotouch multi-zone controller sits at the heart of a sophisticated heating controls system. It can wirelessly control up to eight heating zones in a domestic house, ensuring homeowners set the heating to suit their lifestyle. Combining touch screen functionality with an award-winning design, Evotouch has definitely set the standard in heating controls.

For the installer, Evotouch’s wireless technology makes installation easy, meaning no fuss or mess for homeowners. Packed full of energy saving features, it will control the heating system efficiently to provide maximum comfort and energy savings of up to £120 per year.

In addition, the controller can be combined with wireless radiator thermostats so there is full control in every room at the simple touch of a screen.

Andy Mansfield, marketing manager at Honeywell comments: “We are extremely delighted to have won best heating product. House Beautiful is one of the most read national home interest magazines in the UK and it’s fantastic to be recognised by such a prestigious magazine.

“As a company committed to providing the most innovative solutions in heating controls, news of winning this award is very exciting for us - especially within the short space of time since launching the product. We are truly making heating controls a thing of beauty.”

What’s more, Evotouch supports a wide range of applications, from simple single zone boiler control to multi-zone under floor heating and radiator control using Honeywell’s proven Radio Frequency (RF) technology, providing secure communication between the heating system components.
