Building work has begun on transforming a disused factory site in Barwell on Hazel Way into 14 new homes for sale from leading Midlands developer Westleigh Homes.
Offering a mix of two and three bedroom properties, the new houses will be built to a high specification and offer buyers the opportunity to move into a new home during summer 2014. Five homes will be available via a shared ownership scheme, whilst the remaining nine will be available to purchase outright.
Set to breathe new life into this former factory and storage site this new development will enhance the existing community by removing the otherwise redundant buildings and the new homes will also be ideally located for the local amenities within Barwell centre along with the additional facilities at nearby Earl Shilton.
Robert Orr, Sales & Marketing Manager at Westleigh Homes, comments, “We are looking forward to bringing these 14 new homes to the market, especially as they will help to meet the rise in demand for new housing in Leicestershire.
“The development itself will also result in the transformation of the current landscape from a disused site into a thriving new community and we hope to encourage people to the area with homes that offer comfort, style and various layout options.”
