The GGF has formed a new company called GGF Training Ltd to meet the industry’s training requirements by delivering a range of training solutions for the fenestration and glazing sector at every level.
Nigel Rees, GGF Group Chief Executive, welcomed the new addition to the Group: “The objectives of GGF Training are twofold – firstly to fulfil a need for a full service training provision in the glazing sector.
"This will be capable of taking entrants to the industry from apprenticeship level right up to Master Installer/Surveyor. Additionally, GGF Training will supply a clear, simple and cost-effective route to MTC (Minimum Technical Competency) compliance - enabling installers to demonstrate competence in ways that are flexible enough to suit all businesses and individuals.”
GGF Training will offer various learning options including online courses for at-home learning, traditional classroom-based modules and practical on-site courses. This approach will create positive personal development at an individual level, a commercial advantage at a business level and further raise industry-wide standards.
