The IKO Polimar FCS provides a rapid cure and durable waterproofing solution, which reduces the installation time on balconies and walkways to just hours rather than days. This makes IKO Polimar FCS ideal for new build projects as well as residential refurbishment work where minimal disruption to occupants is key. Wider applications include; driveways, railway platforms, stairs, pedestrian ramps and cycle paths.
Speedy installation is assured with each layer curing in around 20 minutes and trafficable in just 45 minutes. The Polimar FCS system (with optional low odour waterproofing) is based on high performance resin and consists of a primer (if required), a 3mm self-levelling wear course with a hard wearing, slip resistant aggregate, and a sealing top coat. The liquid waterproofing layer contains a fully reinforced fleece and combines to make a highly durable, flexible and slip-resistant waterproof coating.
IKO Polimar FCS can be applied in all year round and is permanently weather resistant to high and low temperatures and UV rays. It is also resistant to the most commonly used acids and alkali solutions making Polimar FCS ideal for areas of high foot traffic.
The IKO Polimar FCS Balcony & Walkway Waterproofing System is available in three standard shades of grey with any BS 4800 or RAL colour available to order.
It is designed to give up to 15 years protection when installed by an IKO approved contractor in accordance with IKO specifications, and is an ETA approved waterproofing system.
