JELD-WEN, the UKs leading manufacturer of timber windows, doors and stairs, has launched a new range of made-to-measure windows, offering trade professionals a premium product that adds character to any property.
The new Elegance range combines the traditional style of timber windows with the performance benefits of JELD-WEN’s modern design and specification. With a profile designed to mirror the traditional flush casement window style, a wide range of bar options are available offering a distinctive look and feel for every project.
As the demand for sustainable products rises, trade professionals are increasingly replacing old uPVC with timber windows, making Elegance the ideal choice. Not only does the new range meet part E and L legislation, but it boasts a U value range of 1.3-1.5, making it a beautiful, modern choice with strong sustainability credentials. In addition, a number of different sill solutions can be ordered to suit varying building methods, as opposed to the 91mm sill supplied as standard.

The Elegance range can be ordered in factory-finished white or with a bespoke RAL finish. All JELD-WEN window ranges now have polished chrome hardware as standard with 480 hours salt spray performance, concealed vents and a white weatherstrip for an improved appearance.
The new range also has the benefit of a multi-point locking system, with a night vent position and projecting hinges. Trade professionals who require extra character can opt for the traditional monkey tail handle and mock stay and for added security can choose the Secured by Design specification.
The range is supported by JELD-WEN’s 10 year manufacturing guarantee towards defects, their 40 year rot and fungal attack guarantee and a hardware guarantee of 10 years.
