Utilising the very latest modification technology, KEYWOOD locks in all the natural benefits of beautiful radiata pine to produce a durable, versatile and sustainable material for cladding, decking, joinery, flooring or furniture projects.
KEYWOOD is produced from FSC certified softwood timber that has been transformed into a highly durable material by introducing a unique biomass based resin into the cell walls, improving its biological performance and physical attributes. KEYWOOD has a provisional Durability Class that relates to a desired service life up to 60 years, when referencing BS 8417 for exterior, out of ground contact applications (Use Class 3). KEYWOOD can be used indoors or outdoors, with or without a coating.
The highest quality, No.1 clears radiata pine, with a consistent appearance and knot free on all faces is used to provides an initial brown colouration, which slowly weathers to a natural silver shade.
