Adding to its comprehensive collection of hard landscaping care, protection and installation solutions, Natural Paving Products (UK) Ltd has launched a new jointing mortar within its Pavetuf range.
Following the widespread success of the all weather Jointing Compound launched earlier this year, Natural Paving Products has brought out the new Jointing Mortar to offer an even wider range of colours and finishes within the Pavetuf range. Available in Gun Metal Grey and Silver Grey, the new addition results in a smoother and more concrete-like finish – giving homeowners a choice of aesthetics for their landscaping installation.
As a cement-based product, the rapidly setting Jointing Mortar is specifically designed for trade landscapers – requiring professional skills and ideally a minimum of two people to apply it. The Joining Mortar is also the strongest product of its type available on the market, with a strength of 49.6N/mm– the solid paving joints can be walked on one hour after application and driven on after four hours, allowing projects to be completed quickly and effectively.

At the DIY end of the scale, the jointing compound is very easy to apply but takes between 18 to 24 hours to set, whereas the new jointing mortar requires a bit more skill to apply but dries extremely quickly, allowing our professional customers to get on with the job.”
Designed to fill joints 3mm to 50mm wide and 20mm to 200mm deep, each 15kg tub will cover between 7m2 and 12.5m2 depending on the size of the paving and joints. Suitable for use on paved areas that have been laid on a full bed of mortar, the product can be used with natural stone and artificial stone, porcelain, concrete, terracotta, granite, marble and clay, enabling complete design flexibility to create appealing outdoor spaces.
New for 2015, the Pavetuf Jointing Mortar is the latest addition to the comprehensive Pavetuf range, which enables Natural Paving Products to provide a full ‘one-stop-shop’, supplying all necessary care and maintenance solutions alongside its high quality natural stone products.
The range includes two fully breathable sealants in invisible and satin finishes that can be applied as soon as the stone is laid; a variety of cleaning products, including General Cleaner, Deep Cleaner, Rust Remover and Green-Off Cleaner; a Salt Eraser that removes efflorescence and prevents its reappearance; and a high quality, Sand Crete sealer that also acts as a joint hardener, protecting against sand loss, weed growth and staining.
