Saniflo has provided eight units to help complete the £7 million pound transformation of the Wisbech campus of the College of East Anglia for students learning the plumbing and heating trade. A range of equipment has been installed to simulate real life jobs. The centre aims to be as environmentally friendly as possible and recycling water is a key use for the two Sanishower units where they replicate household airing cupboards. Water feeds into domestic water tanks but drains out via the Sanishower units, which pump it back up to a tank that is stored in the ceiling space. The water is then re-used. The college says this will save 3000 litres of water a year. Sanipacks are used in four bathroom bays demonstrating how it is possible to convert spaces into bathrooms without typical drainage. A Sanislim highlights how a macerator works with slimline contemporary sanitaryware and a Sanipack is used to test water drainage systems.
