Switching energy sources could boost profits

AvantiGas, national supplier of off grid energy solutions, urges hotel owners to consider saving energy as a way of increasing profit margins.

The UK hospitality industry is currently enjoying a resurgence in bedroom occupancy, with filled room rates increasing year on year. Events such as the 2012 Olympics and the Tour De France have provided a much-needed boost to the British tourism industry.

However, hotel businesses are still looking for ways to increase profitability, and reviewing spend on energy could be the ideal way to cut costs, reduce carbon and even enhance reputations.

Energy costs in hotels only amount to a small per cent of their total outlay, so while they are not the biggest expense faced by hotel owners, there is certainly room for improvement as reducing energy costs directly affects the bottom line allowing for increased profitability.

However, for those establishments off-grid, the prospect of choosing or changing energy supply may feel slightly more daunting than it is for their neighbours connected to mains gas

Energy Solutions

AvantiGas is able to provide a number of cost saving energy solutions ideal for the hospitality industry, including oil to LPG conversions, low priced LPG, biomass and a range of renewable technologies.

With LPG being cheaper and more efficient than oil, AvantiGas is able to guarantee customers reduced energy costs when switching from oil-based suppliers.  For those looking towards a renewable solution for heating, AvantiGas can offer fully funded installations with no capital outlay.

A greener place to stay

High on the agenda of many hotels is being seen to be environmentally aware. With LPG emitting at least ten per cent less carbon dioxide than oil, it is the cleaner, greener choice for establishments looking to improve their environmental credentials. It also makes an ideal companion to run alongside renewable energy options with biomass offering 30-50% savings on heating costs.

Hotels off mains gas face an additional challenge in an already difficult sector. AvantiGas aims to make life easier by providing more cost-effective, energy efficient, environmentally-friendly solutions from a reliable source at competitive prices.
