TORMAX access for expanding housing association

Improving access for visitors and staff to their offices, the arm’s length management organisation, Derby Homes Ltd has recently upgraded four key entrances with TORMAX iMotion automatic sliding doors.

“We used our standard procurement route in selecting TORMAX against two other similar companies,” explains Mario Preite, Senior Project Surveyor for Derby Homes.

“We found TORMAX to perform well in all areas of quality, price and service and went on to contract them to upgrade the entrances to three additional office buildings.”

Designed for reliability, the TORMAX door operators deliver an exceptionally long life-span thanks to the Swiss engineering combined with cutting-edge technology. This reduces total cost of ownership, allowing for effective financial planning with reduced ongoing budgetary expenditure.

Swiss-owned, TORMAX is a worldwide organisation with over 60 years of experience in the design, manufacture and installation of technologically advance automatic entrance systems.

At Derby Homes, two TORMAX 1301 iMotion operators drive internal and external swing doors whilst a iMotion 2202 bi-parting operator was installed to provide sliding door access to newly refurbished open-plan office space.

IMotion also ticks the sustainability box too, with over 95% of the operators being manufactured from recyclable materials.
