Methven, the global designer and manufacturer of premium showers and tapware, has extended its range of cool-to-touch bar showers with two new models for the UK market.
Utilising cool-to-touch technology, Methven’s new bar showers ensure the bar valves never get warmer than the mixed water temperature, resulting in a safer shower experience that is suitable for all the family. The adjustable thermostatic controls also allow users to maintain their preferred water temperature setting and have a 38°C default safety setting to prevent scalding.
Continuing the Kiri range’s tradition of crisp and sleek design, the new Kiri Satinjet bar shower features Methven’s patented Satinjet technology, which collides twin-jets of water to deliver more than 300,000 droplets of water per second for an invigorating, luxurious showering experience which also performs at lower flow rates, therefore reducing water and energy consumption.
The Kiri Satinjet cool-to-touch bar shower also includes a built-in diverter, enabling users to easily switch between the Satinjet handset and a fixed headset, as well as easy-fit connectors for quick and simple installation.
Meanwhile, Deva by Methven has extended its product range with the release of the Dynamic cool-to-touch bar shower with diverter.
Also featuring thermostatic control, cool-to-touch technology and easy-fit connectors, the new Dynamic bar shower includes both a Krome 200mm headset and a multi-mode handset. Both boast chrome finishes.
These new launches follow hot on the heels of the Sol Thermostatic Mixer shower, Methven’s first TMV3 accredited model. A compact shower with peg lever controls to make it easy to operate even for those with limited dexterity, the TMV3 accreditation means it is safe for use in healthcare establishments and for installations for vulnerable users.
Martin Walker, CEO at Methven UK, said: “With the UK population now living longer than ever before, we are conscious that we need to grow our range of inclusive products that offer protection to the more vulnerable members of society. These products not only meet the latest safety requirements but also utilise the latest technologies to give users a safe yet invigorating shower experience.”
