Step into the mythical world of fairies, spirits and imps with the latest collection of woven carpets from Royal Warrant Holders Axminster Carpets now in stock.

Characterised by Axminster Carpets’ world-renowned quality and unrivalled British design and manufacture, this collection of contemporary wool-rich plaids and checks stands apart from the crowd setting a new direction for fashionable checks.

Woven in Axminster, Devon using the company’s unique blend of 80:20 wool and high specification Axminster weave, this collection is the perfect match of luxury and durability – making it suitable for both residential and commercial applications but maintaining all the characteristics of wool.

It is easy to see the inspiration for this collection as Gary Bridge, Design Director explains: “Living on the Jurassic Coast and near to the ever changing moors, this collection reveals the beauty of the landscape found when walking in the region with powdery blue skies, rich warm heathers and ground shades of granite and quartz to deliver an endlessly versatile range of carpets.”

He continues on Axminster Carpets commitment to wool carpets: “We have been designing and weaving wool carpets since 1755. Wool not only looks and feels great for years offering exceptional value for money, it also actively repels dirt and attracts allergens for up to 30 years making it perfect for families and allergy sufferers.

"Wool is also the safe choice as with an ignition temperature of around 600°c it can act as a fire retardant barrier to your floor as it does not melt like man-made fibres”.
