Solarlux introduces sound proof Cero III window

Latest News Wed, Aug 17, 2016 3:58 PM

Solarlux, the definitive market leader in glass door and glass element technology, will be giving demonstrations of Cero III, its new Rc3 certified sliding window, on stand C117 at the Homebuilding and Renovating Show from September 23-25 2016.

Visitors will have the opportunity to try out the window by standing inside a fully closed glass container made with Cero III. Whilst inside, visitors will notice a significant noise reduction which will demonstrate the high quality of the product. This unique opportunity will give buyers and architects the chance to put the product’s claims of durability and noise reduction to the test, something Solarlux is keen for visitors to do, such is the high quality of the glass.

Cero III is the latest window in the Cero range from leading glass door manufacturer Solarlux. The window was recently certified to the highest level of safety classification by the Velbert Test Institute.

As one of Solarlux’s brands, Cero III was awarded resistance class RC3 for its durability and resilience, as well as its resistance to burglary. In addition to this, the premium design and quality glass mean the windows provide a great wall for sound while creating a barrier free, open living space.

With safety high on the list of customer priorities, glass window fittings and runners are often scrutinised for any signs of weakness. Cero III was not only able to withstand vigorous testing from the Velbert Test Institute, but also boasts fully recessed floor tracks and durable and extremely robust runners as part of the design to ensure optimum safety and security.

The Cero III has been designed not only with safety high on the agenda, but also with a flexible design-the panels are versatile and can be used in many living spaces including barrier free and premium spaces, so designers can utilise them for many different buildings.

Solarlux founder and owner Herbert Holtgreife said: “Cero has already proven a success in international markets and we hope that it will be similarly well received by the UK market.”

Visit Solarlux on stand C117 at Grand Designs Birmingham to learn more about these products or to discuss your next project.
