the fashion arena, River Island now boast nearly 300 stores worldwide!
In the UK the company is committed to keeping their retail outlets
looking fresh and contemporary and recently refurbished the Newcastle
store in Eldon Square Shopping Centre.
Working alongside Crofton Contracts, River Island selected BluePrint
Ceramics to supply the porcelain tiles for the store. Crofton Contracts
specialise in the supply and application of commercial interior finishes
and have worked with BluePrint Ceramics on previous retail projects.
Due to the high traffic nature of a River Island retail environment, a
tile with exceptional technical performance was specified. Compact from
the BluePrint Ceramics Porcelain Collection was selected as it features a
clear contemporary feel while benefiting from being a full thickness
porcelain product. The store refurbishment is now complete and caters
for a large number of Newcastle’s shoppers each week without showing
signs of usage.
