Leading commercial washroom designer and manufacturer, Washroom Washroom, has provided a prestigious Covent Garden office with fresh new-look washrooms as part of a comprehensive refurbishment programme.
25 Bedford Street, which is considered to be one of the best addresses in Covent Garden, boasts a prime location in this sought-after area with balconies overlooking the famous piazza as well as its own roof terrace.
The office accommodation on the third and fourth floors of the building have recently undergone an extensive refurbishment to provide bright, efficient grade A open plan office space.
Working closely with office refurbishment and fit-out specialists, Virtus Contracts, Washroom Washroom installed new washrooms, featuring its Alto Kristalla glass toilet cubicles, on levels three and four. The cubicle’s rebated edge design creates a flush façade for a sleek finish, making it a popular choice among specifiers. On this project, the back-painted cubicle doors were finished using contrasting wood veneer-faced pilasters to create a striking, high-specification finish.
The Alto Kristalla cubicles are complemented by natural stone vanities as well as Washroom’s Concerto integrated duct panel system and modesty screens. Both the duct paneling and modesty screens were faced in toughened, back-painted glass to match the cubicle doors.
As part of the project, Washroom also created a staff shower and changing area featuring its exceptionally durable Forza solid grade laminate lockers and matching benching. The company also supplied and installed all sanitaryware, including pans, urinals, sinks and taps, as well as all ancillary items and toilet roll holders as part of the project.
Trevor Bowers, director at Washroom Washroom said: “We pride ourselves on our ability to offer something unique and using materials like glass, which aren’t traditionally associated with commercial washrooms, is an ideal way to achieve a bespoke, high-specification finish.
"Back-painted glass adds even more flexibility to the design as does including contrasting pilasters, both of which combine here to create the striking design demanded in such a prestigious building.”
