Bostik will be exhibiting new products from its professional flooring and HVAC ranges on stand B500 at this year’s Build Show as part of UK Construction Week, which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham on 10 – 12 October 2017.
On display from the company’s flooring range is the Bostik Roll - a solvent-free adhesive strip that has been specially designed for the fast installation of skirting and other floor or wall mounted accessories.
An effective alternative to water and solvent-based adhesives, Bostik Roll provides a quick stick when fitting all types of skirting, including when forming a cove. It can also be used to fit protective wall panels and other accessories, such as cable ducting.
As the adhesive is dry there’s no curing time required, meaning the worksite can remain open to traffic, which makes it ideal for use in sensitive areas such as healthcare settings.
Being showcased from the company’s HVAC range is Bostik W110 - a new self-adhesive thermal acoustic wrap designed to control noise break-out on plastic rainwater and soil pipes, as well as HVAC ducting, which is up to 20% quicker to install than traditional acoustic insulation products.
Supplied on a compact and lightweight roll, Bostik W110 forms an instant bond around pipework with no need for the extra banding or clips that are associated with the more traditional products on the market. It’s just 4mm thick, meaning it’s easy to handle and cut, and can be used in tight applications with less room taken up on site.
Bostik W110 is Class 0 fire rated and acoustic tested to ISO 10140-2, with a weighted sound reduction index of up to 30dB.
In addition to its wider offering within the professional flooring and HVAC markets, experts from Bostik will be on hand throughout the show to discuss the company’s full portfolio of products designed for use on construction projects.
These include adhesives and grouts for professional tilers, as well as specialist products to provide maximum protection at each stage of the asbestos abatement process.
