The first major cheese production investment in the UK for 40 years has led to the construction of a new £6 million facility for South Caernarfon Creameries Ltd. Officially opened by the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall in 2016, the cheese production unit at SCC’s Chwilog site near Pwllheli has enabled the company to increase their capacity from 9,500 tonnes to 12,000 tonnes of cheese per annum. McVeigh Projects Ltd supplied and installed the sites controlled environments, utilising large quantities of HPT Control insulated panels within a variety of internal build-ups.
