A new combined
activation and safety sensor for special door and window requirements is being launched by GEZE UK.
The GEZE laser
scanner LZR can be used in environments which demand a wider range than standard activation
and safety sensors.
In these cases, the
LZR range can be used to boost their activation using a four-laser light
curtain which provides
three-dimensional protection of the monitored area. The laser scanner
LZR also incorporates a ‘time-of-flight’ measurement system which make them very reliable as
they are not affected by background reflection.
They can be used for
a range of automatic door and window systems and come in three types so that the most
appropriate one can be used in conjunction with the relevant door or window solution.
The laser scanner
LZR is considered ideal for retro-fitting to existing systems and their
installation above doorways
eliminates the risk of them being damaged by collision. The P220 version is
produced in black while the others the P110 and the 1100 comes in both black and white.
