LABC technical roadshows, worth 3.5 hours of CPD training, have become so popular of late that they have been oversubscribed weeks before the event – much to the delight of its insulation sponsor, Actis.
The February seminar, held in Middlesex, reached maximum capacity of 90 a fortnight before the official closing date – with standing room only for around half the attendees.
Each event offers sessions from a range of experts in the construction industry including Actis, whose team talks about addressing the performance gap with reflective insulation.
Delegates find the sessions extremely useful, with comments such as "It was without a doubt the best format I have come across,” “Lots of content, swift presentations.” And “Great!" not uncommon.
Now LABC is recommending early booking for builders, designers and building control teams to avoid, as the cliche goes, disappointment.
The next event takes place at Chester racecourse on March 19 - sporting venues are something of a theme for LABC!
In addition to input from Actis, other topics will include water management, brownfield sites and compliance.
The free event also gives delegates a chance to network and quiz LABC professionals while enjoying free refreshments and pastries!
The roadshow runs from 8am until noon at Chester Racecourse, Chester CH1 2LY. Booking is open until March 15th, with a caveat that places are likely to be snapped up well ahead of that date.
