Insulation specialist Actis is among a number of construction industry experts to address the March general meeting of the LABSS in Stirling.
Regional sales director Jemma Harris will talk to more than 40 building control officers and other senior LABSS members from councils across Scotland about addressing the performance gap with reflective insulation.
The one-hour Construction CPD Certification Service certified seminar focuses on why the performance gap exists, the effects of external factors on the fabric efficiency of a building, air tightness and thermal bridging and how reflective insulation can address these issues.
The course is specifically designed to suit the more stringent Scottish building regulations.
Actis’ CE marked Hybrid range includes innovative honeycomb style insulation Hybris, insulating vapour control layer H Control Hybrid and two variants of insulating breather membrane Boost R Hybrid Wall and Boost R Hybrid Roof.
The products are cleaner, faster and easier to install than traditional alternatives and are more cost effective.
The products have LABSS registered details, LABC Warranty and Premier Guarantee approval and are NHBC accepted when used in accordance with the certification.
