Taylor Maxwell is proud to announce that in 2019 it will cross a significant milestone in the history of the company. This year Taylor Maxwell Ltd will have been trading for 60 years.
The company was originally formed in 1959 as a small enterprise by Mr Taylor and Mr Maxwell who commenced operations merchanting bricks and timber from offices in Bristol.
Today, with a Head Office still based in Bristol, Taylor Maxwell employ just under 200 people in 15 locations across the UK to source a wide portfolio of products including brick, timber, cladding and masonry solutions for our customers.
Growth has been achieved both organically and by acquisition over the years, adding companies such as the Timber Marketing Corporation in 1978 and Vobster Cast Stone Company in 2002. The most recent addition to our operations is a new product showroom in the Hop Exchange, located next to Borough Market in London SE1.
Although much has changed since 1959, Taylor Maxwell's core values of quality, integrity and adaptability have remained consistent, ensuring the company works honestly and ethically, with pride and without excuse or exception.
